This shop is run by GR Art & Design Ltd, trading as Moss & Muse, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC785452, registered office [registered address]). You can reach us at enquiries@themossandmuse.co.uk.
When you place an order you're making an offer to buy. We'll email you a confirmation straight away, and the contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order. If we can't fulfil something — it happens rarely — we'll tell you quickly and refund anything you've paid for it.
Our shelves are shared with our eBay shop, so very occasionally something sells in both places at once. If that happens to your order we'll refund the affected item immediately and say sorry properly — probably with a discount on the next one.
Delivery works as described in our shipping policy, and returns as described in our returns policy — both are part of these terms.
We sell craft supplies and gifts intended for adults and older makers — many items are small or sharp and aren't toys. Product photos are as true-to-life as we can make them, though colours can vary a little between screens (and between batches of clay, gems and washi — that's part of the charm).
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for anything the law says we can't limit. Beyond that, we're responsible for foreseeable losses caused by us, up to the value of your order — we're a small craft shop, not an insurer of business ventures.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes belong to the courts there — though we'd much rather just talk it through first. (As a consumer you can always bring a claim in your own part of the UK.)
